Jeremy Mathis will present the Re-Thinking Rapid Intervention lecture presentation followed by a hands-on class on firefighter CPR A certificate of completion for this class will be provided by the Alabama Fire College.

About the event
Instructor - Jeremy Mathis has been in the fire service since early 2001 where he began his career as a volunteer. In
2004 he became a career firefighter with Covington Fire Department (Georgia), where he serves as a
Captain. Jeremy has obtained an Associates Degree in Fire Science, Bachelors Degree in Fire
Administration, and is near completing his Masters in Organizational Leadership. He holds numerous
certifications for the State of Georgia, has received the Fire Officer (FO) Credential for the Center for
Public Safety Excellence (CPSE), Chief Fire Officer Designation from the Georgia Fire Chiefs Association
(GFCA). Jeremy has contibuted to Fire Engineering, Fire House Magazine, and has been a guest on Fire
House Podcast and National Fire Radio. Jeremy is also the Director of Training for FAST Rescue Solutions where he has assisted in developing and delivering training programs at conferences across the country.
