Laddering With A Purpose
The functional use of ladders has evolved much in recent years. Once used as a platform for fire attack they are now thrown mostly as decoration or “window dressings”. This class will counter the “only if needed” mentality and help lay groundwork to build a a culture of aggressive ladder work. We will discuss how to use ladders as a tool to support fire attack. How to build confidence in working from ladders. Drills and tips to improve laddering skill. Together we can move laddering from a box that needs to be checked to a task used in support of fire ground goals.
We will also discuss technical rescue training and coordinating training with possible tech rescue hazards in your area.
